It's been an extremely busy week in the office, (we didn't even get a chance to blog about it!!),
with the launch of Artistic Britain its been an excitable but stressful few days. We have been working on Artistic Britain right from the start of our placement in July. We have helped develop and design the website over the last few months, (My highlight was coming up with the slogan for the business - 'Bringing British Art Home' !!), and just generally helping out where we could.
So on Friday we popped open the bubbly and celebrated its launch! The website sells the best of British art from a selected group of 40 talented artists, Cat and I can't wait to buy our first piece! ( http://www.artisticbritain.co.uk/index.php )
At the start of the week we were tied up with a brief sent from one of our largest retailers. I had a meeting with Sales who briefed us on what the buyers liked and disliked from our proposed designs and then we CAD'd up the chosen designs ready to be sent to the supplier. We loved working on this brief due to some great themes to work on and we definitely learnt alot!
